Kaseya Champions AI-Driven Cyber Resilience for MSPs at Connect APAC 2025

At the Kaseya Connect APAC 2025 conference in Sydney, global IT management and security provider Kaseya spotlighted the rising role of artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and cyber resilience in shaping the future of managed service providers (MSPs). The two-day event gathered more than 1,200 MSP leaders from Australia, New Zealand, and across Asia to explore how AI can bridge skills gaps, improve operational efficiency, and transform service delivery models.

Kaseya CEO Rania Succar described this as a “once-in-a-generation technology transformation,” emphasizing that the MSP industry stands at a critical inflection point.

“We see tremendous opportunity for this community,” said Succar. “This region is undergoing tremendous innovation, creativity, and growth.”

Building AI-Driven Resilience for MSPs

Kaseya announced a series of product innovations designed to help MSPs evolve faster in the face of increasing complexity and cyber threats. Among the major highlights was the launch of the Datto SIRIS 6 backup appliance and a preview of the company’s AI-powered Digital Workforce — an intelligent platform that uses agentic AI to automate advanced IT tasks and reduce technician workloads.

Kaseya Chief Product Officer Jim Lippie said the platform addresses one of the biggest challenges in MSP operations — the fragmented backup process.

“There are too many products, too many portals, and too much noise in continuity,” Lippie explained. “We’re unifying these into a single cyber resilience platform, where a technician can focus on what truly matters without managing multiple tools.”

The Digital Workforce, expected to roll out in Autumn 2026, leverages agentic learning systems that act as digital specialists capable of reasoning, assessing, and responding to IT incidents much like an experienced technician. As part of the Kaseya ecosystem, it integrates seamlessly with the company’s unified management tools to provide real-time insights, backup monitoring, and operational efficiency from a single interface.

New Acquisitions and Evolving Pricing Models

Kaseya also announced the acquisition of INKY, a cybersecurity firm specializing in AI-driven phishing and impersonation defense. INKY combines generative AI with behavioral analytics to proactively identify threats and train users through real-time coaching. The acquisition strengthens Kaseya’s growing security and automation portfolio, further embedding AI across its platform.

Additionally, Kaseya revealed a significant shift in its pricing model. By December 2025, the company will retire its High Watermark pricing policy for products including Datto RMM, SaaS Protection, and Autotask, transitioning instead to a committed minimum and variable consumption model. The change aims to offer MSPs greater flexibility and cost alignment based on usage, with a full rollout planned across Kaseya’s product suite by June 2026.

Celebrating Excellence Across APAC

To close the conference, Kaseya recognized outstanding partners and individuals through its Kaseya Connect APAC 2025 Awards, celebrating innovation, growth, and client impact across the region.

Kaseya Vice President and General Manager for APAC Daniel Garcia praised the winners for their role in driving transformation within the IT services ecosystem.

“They aren’t just adapting to the changing IT landscape — they are actively shaping it,” Garcia said. “It’s our privilege to support their growth and innovation.”

As the MSP landscape evolves, Kaseya’s latest announcements underscore its commitment to blending AI innovation, automation, and cyber resilience into a unified ecosystem — one designed to empower MSPs to scale faster, protect smarter, and deliver more value to their clients.
