Nutanix Appoints Former Conviva VP Jay Tuseth as APJ Leader

Nutanix has named Jay Tuseth, formerly a vice president at Conviva, as its new vice president and general manager for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

Tuseth steps into the position previously held by Aaron White, who transitioned to the role of field chief operating officer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) in November last year. In his new capacity, Tuseth will report directly to Andrew Brinded, Nutanix’s chief revenue officer.

With more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Tuseth brings extensive expertise from his time at Conviva, a company specializing in real-time performance analytics software. His work there was instrumental in guiding digital enterprises and operational teams in shifting their focus from service quality to user experience enhancement.

Nutanix highlighted Tuseth’s leadership philosophy, which revolves around fostering continuous development, encouraging teams to push limits, and creating an environment where contributions are recognized and valued.

Before joining Conviva, Tuseth held various leadership positions at major tech firms such as Oracle, Dell Technologies, Autonomy, Vignette, and GE Access.

Nutanix has been committed to strengthening its partner ecosystem.
