Sydney-based adtech startup Blend AI has taken a major step in its global expansion by opening its first U.S. office in Austin, Texas. This move comes as the company continues to grow its AI-driven platform, which helps e-commerce businesses optimize ad spending across major digital platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and Microsoft.
Driving Smarter Ad Spend with AI
Founded in 2020 by Michael Bezman and Dean Krowitz, Blend AI is on a mission to simplify digital advertising by eliminating inefficiencies, reducing costs, and automating the complexities of ad management. The platform streamlines everything from campaign creation and audience targeting to real-time optimization, allowing brands to focus on growth without the traditional burdens of digital ad management.
Since its inception, Blend AI has gained traction across 21 countries, working with over 250 brands that span industries ranging from pet products and babywear to furniture and home goods.
Strong Investment Backing and Expansion Strategy
In 2022, Blend AI secured $1.5 million in funding, led by Sydney-based venture fund EVP. The firm has continued to support Blend AI with additional rounds of investment, bringing its total funding to nearly $3.6 million.
The decision to establish a presence in Austin reflects the city’s thriving tech ecosystem and startup-friendly environment. With increasing demand from U.S. businesses seeking to scale their digital advertising efforts, the new office will enable closer collaboration with a growing client base.
Unlocking Growth for E-Commerce Brands
As AI continues to transform the e-commerce and digital advertising landscape, co-founder Dean Krowitz sees the expansion as a pivotal moment for the company:
“With the rapid evolution of AI and e-commerce, businesses can leverage smarter advertising technology to free up cash flow and time—allowing them to grow sales while they sleep,” said Krowitz.
“Our expansion into the U.S. opens up massive growth potential, giving e-commerce brands access to powerful AI-driven ad optimization in one of the world’s largest markets.”
As Blend AI sets its sights on further growth, its presence in the U.S. marks a significant milestone in its journey to redefine how brands approach digital advertising efficiency.
