A23 Elevates Anthony Burden to National Sales Director to Drive Nationwide Growth

Canberra-headquartered IT services provider A23 has promoted Anthony Burden to the role of national sales director as the company sharpens its focus on scaling its presence across Australia.

Burden, a founding member of A23, has had a multi-phase journey with the company—helping launch it in 2016, then rejoining in 2022 after senior roles at HPE and IBM. He most recently served as enterprise architect and was instrumental in spearheading A23’s growth in Canberra over the past six months, particularly in the public sector.

Now tasked with leading all business development activity nationally, Burden is expected to standardize and scale high-value client engagement while expanding the company’s footprint in key markets. He has already played a key role in establishing A23’s New South Wales operations and is currently overseeing its entry into Queensland.

“Anthony’s appointment recognises the leadership he’s already demonstrated across multiple markets,” said A23 CEO Natalie Legg. “His deep understanding of the business, combined with his experience in large-scale transformation, positions us well for our next stage of growth.”

Burden’s career spans roles at HPE, IBM, Dimension Data, and a long-term engagement with the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. His mix of technical architecture and strategic sales experience makes him a strong fit to lead A23’s national expansion agenda.
