Anything AI Secures $100M Valuation After Explosive Early Growth

The market for AI-powered app development—or “vibe coding,” as it has come to be known—is heating up fast. Startups in this space are promising to make software development as simple as describing an idea in plain language, and investors are taking notice.

Jakarta-born but globally focused startup Anything AI is the latest to catch fire. Just weeks after its launch, the company announced an $11 million funding round led by Footwork, with additional backing from Uncork Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, and M13. The raise puts the company at a $100 million valuation, a milestone made more striking by its rapid traction—$2 million ARR within its first two weeks of operations.

Solving vibe coding’s biggest weakness

The surge of vibe-coding platforms such as Lovable and Replit has created buzz across the developer and startup ecosystem. These tools can generate prototypes quickly, but according to Footwork co-founder Nikhil Basu Trivedi, they fall short when it comes to helping nontechnical users scale prototypes into full-fledged, production-ready businesses.

That’s where Anything AI aims to stand out. Co-founders Dhruv Amin and Marcus Lowe, both former Google colleagues, designed the platform to provide everything users need beyond the prototype phase—databases, storage, payments, and more. Their ambition is clear: to become the “Shopify of vibe coding.”

“Most platforms can help you spin up an idea, but very few can help you actually launch a business,” Amin explained. “We want to close that gap by giving creators the full stack they need to take their apps live and generate revenue.”

Early proof of concept

Anything AI is already proving its model works. According to Amin, users have successfully published apps on the App Store, ranging from a habit tracker and CPR training program to a hairstyle “try-on” tool. Some of these are beginning to generate real revenue, validating the company’s focus on end-to-end infrastructure.

This all-in-one approach sets the startup apart from rivals like Lovable and StackBlitz’s Bolt, which rely heavily on third-party infrastructure such as Supabase. By building its own back-end systems, Anything AI hopes to give users greater reliability and a seamless experience.

A competitive but growing market

The broader vibe-coding market remains highly competitive. Mocha and Rork are also building proprietary infrastructure to capture long-term value, with Rork reportedly on pace to hit $10 million ARR by year-end. Yet Footwork’s Basu Trivedi remains bullish: “There’s more than enough demand for different kinds of app-building products. The real winners will be those who can deliver production-ready results.”

For Amin and Lowe, this is not their first foray into AI-assisted development. The pair previously ran a bootstrapped AI developer marketplace, which hit $2 million ARR before they pivoted in 2023 to focus on building a fully automated, generative AI-driven platform. That bet is now paying off.

Why this matters

With app development demand outpacing the supply of skilled developers, AI-powered platforms like Anything AI could reshape how software is built and launched. For enterprises and entrepreneurs alike, the ability to move from idea to production without deep technical expertise is a game changer.

Backed by some of the most influential investors in Silicon Valley, Anything AI is not only chasing growth—it’s staking a claim to redefine the next chapter of software development.
