As digital infrastructure becomes increasingly important across Africa, technology companies are strengthening regional leadership to support expanding connectivity, cloud services, and enterprise transformation. Liquid Intelligent Technologies is making its latest leadership move in the Democratic Republic of Congo as demand for digital infrastructure continues to grow.
Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a business of Cassava Technologies, has appointed Bernard Beya as Chief Executive Officer for its operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), effective April 1, 2026.
The appointment places Beya at the helm of one of Central Africa’s fastest-growing digital infrastructure markets as the company continues expanding its enterprise technology and connectivity services across the region.
A Leadership Transition Built on Local Experience
Beya brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the telecommunications industry, with extensive knowledge of the Congolese market.
He joined Liquid Intelligent Technologies in 2022 as Chief Financial Officer before being named Acting CEO in November 2025. During that period, he led the company’s strategic, operational, and commercial activities while helping strengthen its position in the local market.
His appointment formalizes that leadership role as Liquid continues investing in digital infrastructure across the DRC.
Supporting Enterprise Digital Transformation
In his new position, Beya will oversee the company’s continued growth while expanding access to enterprise technology services, including connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, colocation, and AI computing capabilities.
He said the company will continue building on its operational foundation while delivering greater value for customers, partners, government institutions, and enterprises throughout the country.
Strengthening Digital Infrastructure Across the DRC
According to Sutha Siva, Executive Vice President and Group Chief Operating Officer at Cassava Technologies, the Democratic Republic of Congo represents one of the company’s most significant growth markets.
He noted that Beya’s understanding of the local business environment and focus on customer success position the company to strengthen digital infrastructure and support broader economic development across the country.
The appointment comes as the DRC continues investing in connectivity, digital infrastructure, and technology skills development to accelerate national digital transformation initiatives.
Expanding Regional Growth
Liquid Intelligent Technologies has continued investing across Africa through its parent company, Cassava Technologies, providing digital infrastructure and enterprise technology services to businesses, governments, and public sector organizations.
With Bernard Beya now leading the DRC business, the company is expected to continue supporting organizations seeking secure connectivity, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, and AI-ready infrastructure as digital adoption accelerates across the region.
As enterprise technology investment continues to expand throughout Africa, leadership appointments such as this reflect the growing importance of experienced regional executives in driving long-term business growth and digital transformation.
