Australian distributor Orion Energy has emerged as one of the standout performers at the Vertiv 2025 Asia Channel Summit in Da Nang, Vietnam, taking home two major awards that highlight both sales strength and product innovation.
The Victoria-based company received the Highest Sales Achievement Award for Distribution in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), alongside the 2024 Product Trailblazer Award for Single Phase UPS. These recognitions underscore Orion Energy’s role as a critical link in delivering uninterrupted power supply (UPS) solutions to the region’s enterprise and industrial markets.
The Summit, which serves as Vertiv’s annual partner recognition ceremony, celebrates organisations across Asia-Pacific that excel in sales performance, market innovation, and customer impact.
Recognition for A/NZ Excellence
Orion Energy wasn’t the only Australian company recognised on stage. Metrowest Services, the service arm of the Metrowest Group, also secured the 2024 Vertical Achievement Award for Mining, reflecting its contributions to power generation, communications, and maintenance services within the resources sector.
“The Australia and New Zealand region continues to show strong growth, driven by our partners’ deep expertise and ability to adapt to changing market demands,” said LuLu Shiraz, Senior Sales Director for Vertiv A/NZ. “Their commitment to delivering reliable, future-ready infrastructure solutions is critical to our success in the region.”
Beyond Awards: Showcasing Next-Gen Infrastructure
The three-day conference wasn’t just about celebrating success—it also served as a stage for showcasing how AI-ready, high-density power architectures and advanced thermal management, including liquid cooling technologies, are becoming central to enterprise infrastructure strategies.
Through a mix of panel discussions, demonstrations, and networking opportunities, the event positioned Vertiv and its partners as enablers of resilient digital ecosystems at a time when enterprises are grappling with rising compute demands and the energy challenges of AI workloads.
For Orion Energy, the dual recognition not only strengthens its reputation in the A/NZ channel but also signals how regional distributors can play a transformative role in ensuring businesses have the infrastructure needed to scale in the age of AI.
