Unlocking GenAI at Scale: DiUS Taps AWS in Strategic Push

Technology consultancy DiUS has signed a new Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the adoption of generative AI (GenAI) among enterprises across Australia and New Zealand.

The multi-year agreement will see DiUS and AWS work closely to help organisations identify practical GenAI use cases, embed these solutions into existing systems, and address challenges like latency, scalability, and performance in production. The partnership will focus on sectors where DiUS has established deep expertise, including financial services, retail, industrial, healthcare, and media & entertainment.

According to DiUS cofounder Joe Losinno, the collaboration is about more than just deploying new AI models:

“We’re not just infusing AI into platforms and products; we’re also bringing hard-won expertise in the processes, practices, and organisational shifts needed to embed generative AI and deliver real business outcomes.”

DiUS has a long history with AWS, being among the first Advanced AWS Consulting Partners in Australia and New Zealand to secure both the AWS Machine Learning Competency and Applied AI Competency. This new SCA builds on that relationship, providing DiUS with greater access to AWS co-funding programs and technical support to accelerate GenAI deployment.

Chris Casey, AWS Asia Pacific and Japan director of partnerships, highlighted the broader impact:

“This collaboration helps democratise access to generative AI technology, enabling more Australian businesses to innovate and transform. Our recent $20 billion infrastructure investment in Australia reinforces our commitment to helping partners like DiUS accelerate customer success with cloud and AI.”

One early success story is Australian-founded Pendula, a next-gen customer engagement platform. Pendula worked with DiUS to prototype an agentic AI solution that lets marketers query customer data and conversational insights in natural language—unlocking deeper personalisation and faster decision-making across sales, marketing, and service.

The SCA comes at a pivotal time for enterprises in the region, as organisations look to move beyond proof-of-concept AI pilots towards production-grade systems that can deliver measurable business value.

By combining DiUS’s applied AI and domain expertise with AWS’s scalable cloud infrastructure and GenAI tools, the partnership aims to help more enterprises turn AI ambition into competitive advantage.
